Biography

Over the past 10 years film editor David Shuff has worked with agencies such as
R/GA, Digitas, AKQA, Atmosphere BBDO, McCann-Erickson, Deep Focus, and Subrosa, for clients including Nike, Absolut, MoMA, FedEx, Samsung, American Express, Levi's, IBM, Verizon, Nokia, Target, Giorgio Armani, L'Oréal Paris, HBO, Subaru, Bank of America, Purina, J&J, TGI Friday's, Pfizer, Sanofi Aventis, Dewar's, Avaya, Mattel and Sesame Workshop. In addition, he has been a staff editor and director at R/GA.

David received a BFA in film from SUNY Purchase and shortly thereafter co-founded the production company
Professor Bright Films, which went on to create innovative corporate workand award winning independent films. His films have screened in over forty film festivals—including the Tribeca Film Festival—and his feature film editorial credits include Men Without Jobs (AKA Planet Brooklyn) which secured national distribution.

David's other creative outlets include experimental films, video installations, audio documentaries, live storytelling, essay writing, and DIY inventions. He created the cult sensation website
20kride.com, which was featured on BoingBoing, Yahoo! Picks, and NHK Public Television in Japan. Additionally David produces a yearly fundrasier calendar for his local dog run, and serves as board member and videographer for the non-profit organization Girls Write Now.
