Biography

David has been editing for over 10 years, both freelance and as a staff editor at R/GA and Digitas. He was the lead editor for the 2nd season of the Emmy-nominated PBS web-series NOVA's The Secret Life of Scientists, handling the series episodes while directing junior editors on the supplementary videos. Feature film credits include Men Without Jobs (AKA Planet Brooklyn),and co-editing the cult hit Zero Day.

David received a BFA in film from SUNY Purchase and shortly thereafter co-founded a production company which went on to create award winning independent films as well as innovative corporate work. His short films have screened in over forty film festivals, including the Tribeca Film Festival. Other creative outlets include experimental films, video installations, audio documentaries, live storytelling, guest blogging, and maker DIY inventions.
Additionally, he serves as a advisory board member for the non-profit organization Girls Write Now.
